Kailash Helicopter Services Limited has appointed Muktinath Capital Limited as the issue manager for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company has outlined its proposal to make a portion of its total issued capital of Rs. 35 crores available to the public. Specifically, 10% of the company’s issued capital, equivalent to 3.5 lakh ordinary shares, will be offered to the general public at a premium price.
During a recent event conducted on Magh 3, 2080, Mr. Pratap Jung Pandey, the Managing Director of Kailash Helicopter, and Mr. Kabindra Dhoj Joshi, the Chief Executive Officer of Muktinath Capital, formally entered into an agreement for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) issuance. Kailash Helicopter, in operation since March 23, 2018, has been delivering a range of high-quality services utilizing three helicopters manufactured by the renowned company Airbus.
Since its inception, Kailash Helicopter has maintained a steady record of profitability, even navigating through the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic in the fiscal year 2076/77. The company has consistently shared its success with investors by distributing annual dividends, which included a 5% bonus share and a 10% cash dividend from the profits earned in the fiscal year 2079/80. Following the distribution of bonus shares, the company’s paid-up capital increased to Rs. 31.5 crores. After accounting for bonus shares, Kailash Helicopter has sustained a book value of Rs. 146.29.

In accordance with the recent directive issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), mandating helicopter companies to increase their fleet size to five helicopters within the next five years, Kailash Helicopter is set to enhance its operational capacity. The company intends to augment its fleet by incorporating one helicopter in 2025 and an additional two helicopters in 2027, achieving a total of five helicopters in service. The appointment of Muktinath Capital as the issue manager for the IPO marks a crucial milestone in streamlining the public offering process and supporting the continued growth of Kailash Helicopter Services Limited.
